Tracyton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. Its population was 5,233 at the 2010 census. It was named for 19th century Secretary of the Navy Benjamin F. Tracy.
Tracyton is located in central Kitsap County at 47°36′42″N 122°39′4″W / 47.61167°N 122.65111°W (47.611667, -122.650977). It sits on the east side of Dyes Inlet and is bordered to the south by the city of Bremerton.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total Place of 2.8 square miles (7.2 km2), of which 1.9 square miles (5.0 km2) are land and 0.85 square miles (2.2 km2), or 31.20%, are water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 5,233 people, 1,215 households, and 924 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,143.4 people per square mile (829.9/km2). There were 1,288 housing units at an average density of 845.0/sq mi (327.2/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 80.6% White, 3.7% African American, 0.7% Native American, 6.1% Asian, 1.0% Pacific Islander, 2.0% from new races, and 6.0% from two or more races. 3.6% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 1,215 households, out of which 35.6% had kids under the age of 18 living in the declare of them, 59.5% were married couples blooming together, 12.6% had a female householder similar to no husband present, and 23.9% were non-families. 18.3% of anything households were made occurring of individuals, and 6.7% had someone blooming alone who was 65 years of age or older.
